Happy 1st Birthday C.A.T. Blog!
A year has come and gone and twenty-eight blogs later the C.A.T. Blog is still kicking!
Did you think you’d make it this far? Did you think when your inaugural C.A.T. Blog, Santa Barbara Days, went live that you’d still be going strong a year later breathing words about change, action, and trust?
What’s that I hear? What did you say? Oh, you want everyone to know that you never gave it much thought. Really, not much thought? Not much thought about what?
Ah, not much thought about the year. I see. You took it one blog at a time and never thought about the year. Writing a blog for a year seems overwhelming starting out, but break it down bi-weekly…well that just seems less threatening.
Oh, and you say that’s how most things in life are? Just focus on each step and things will slowly get done. Like the tortoise and hare saga, persistence, however slow, eventually pays off. Nice…that’s nice.
So looking back at the C.A.T. Blog, are there any favorites? Any that stands out for you?
Patience for the ‘Moon’ – The Silent Virtue you say. Hmm, interesting – why this one? What’s so special about this one?
Because it resonates with everyone you claim. Please explain. Tell more.
Because everyone in life, at one time or another, can look back to an event or events, whether it be personal, business, career or family and friends related, where a little more patience could have gone a long way to solve a problem or eliminate a conflict. It could have brought a fresh perspective to a troubling situation.
Interesting…yes, you could say I can think of some of those times too, but hindsight is 20/20, isn’t it?
Right, having the patience to take our time and not act rashly allows us to often see things 20/20 as opposed to seeing 20/20 after impatiently taking rash action. In other words, think before acting. I like it – wise words indeed.
Okay, any others that stands out?
No conversation about life is complete without this topic you mean? Really – which C.A.T. Blog is about this?
To Trust or Not to Trust you say.
Well yes, no doubt, trust is definitely an important factor in life.
Okay, okay, no need to pound the table! Agreed – it’s the most important factor in life. Without trust nothing would get done. Without trust there’d be no such thing as healthy relationships – personal, business or otherwise. Trust makes the world go round, not money. Gotcha!
Afraid your time is up and you have to go now? But there’s one other thing you want to say before going? What’s that?
You look forward to another successful year of the C.A.T. Blog. Glad to hear that. Oh, there’s more?
